Born into the world of real estate, Lauren Schreyer’s design journey began in the northern suburbs of Chicago under the wing of her father, who was a visionary mid-century home builder. His dedication to meticulous detail, unparalleled style, and the intricate dance of space and balance helped form Lauren’s design philosophy.
Lauren’s career started in a 1985 Houston where, despite the energy rout, her client base grew as she proved her skillset. This tenacity followed her as she moved to the glittering backdrop of Los Angeles, where she worked with Academy Award-winning set designer Karen O’Hara on “Barbarians at The Gate” and “Philadelphia,” both Jonathon Demme fi lms.
